The scene of the crime has broadened to encapsulate the entire digital arena, from your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, Bluetooth devices, hard drives, digital cameras, and all other computer mediums. Basically, anything that can store or act in any capacity to transfer or render information. The modern era is now focused on Digital Forensics and like everything, this can be challenging due to the underlying software utilised. The challenges are also entwined with the human factor in that we design, develop and use the software and we are prone to mistakes.
